1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
- App data: the boxes and items you create in the app, stored securely in Firebase.
- Diagnostics: anonymized analytics and crash reports via Firebase to improve stability.
- Purchase information: subscription status and entitlement data via RevenueCat (no full payment details are stored by us).
2. How we use your information
- To provide core features like syncing boxes across your devices.
- To verify and manage your BoxOS Pro subscription.
- To detect, prevent, and fix bugs and crashes.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted third‑party processors (Firebase, RevenueCat, Google Sign‑In) only to operate the app. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
4. Data retention & deletion
- You can delete your account at any time from the app’s Settings. This removes your account and associated box data from our databases.
- Some information may be retained in backups and logs for a limited time as required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
5. Children’s privacy
BoxOS is not directed to children under the age required in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or on this page. Your continued use of BoxOS after changes means you accept the updated policy.
